I had an idea...

Hi folks,

Well, we've gone through all the US presidents. I hope you enjoyed them. I'll come up with a new theme for tomorrow's puzzles, but in the meantime I had an idea I wanted to ask you about.

For my regulars, you know that I don't always have new puzzles every single day. Some days I get too busy (read: lazy) and there's no new content for a while. But when I do have new puzzles, I have chosen them by hand, so they have been Approved By Mike as being sufficiently funny/cool/interesting/relevant.

As an alternative, I could set up an automated system to add quotes every day, by borrowing (read: stealing) them from some of the various quote-a-day websites. The advantage would be that you get (possibly multiple) new puzzles every single day, since it requires no effort from me. The disadvantage would be that the puzzles would not be hand-chosen by me, so I could not vouch for how funny/cool/interesting/relevant they may be. Of course, nothing stops me from continuing to add new puzzles by hand anyway, but this way you'd have at least 1 new puzzle each and every day.

What do you think? Is it worth a try? Comment on this post if you have an opinion.

  1. Hello Mike,

I posted a comment couple of days ago.
    (JFK's puzzle)

    My opinion is...please try!
Later, if you would think that you want to get it back to current style, you could just change back to hand chosen.

I will keep visiting this site:)
